Bolen axe?

I've googled, bing'd, and searched BF... and found no info on these axes.

It's a pretty old michigan pattern, no handle, with "Bolen" stamped leather sheath.
Can't see any stamps/markings on the head because of corrosion.
Any info would be extremely helpful.

I think Bolen was a name of a leather production company, not an axe making company.
