Hi everyone I just finished this knife as a gift for my fathers 65th birthday As he is amateur champion mycologist i hope he will appreciate that on his walks in woods, picking mushrooms Have a nice day PM

Blade - Corrosion resistant san-mai - core 1,2379 (D2) + sides 1,2083 + 1,4301
Guard - Corrosion resistant steel 1,2083 + Damasteel ring .
Handle - Oak burl
Average length - 23 cm (approx- 9 inches) , blade - 9,5 cm (approx- 3,7 inches).
Blade width at widest point 28 mm (approx 1,1 inches ) mm , blade thickness 4 mm (0,15 inches).

METE : Yea.. I Was thinking about it many times during the process but i just cant I simply dont like the brush -- i maybe do some kind of attachment for the sheath with a brush or something like that, but i decided i wont put the brush on the knife this way he can wear the knife in any occasion and not only for picking the mushrooms
