Bolivian makers

I thought I'd check and see if anyone here had any information on any custom makers in Bolivia. I'm going to be making a trip in another week to see my sister who is in the Peace Corps, and am interested in seeing what kind of handmade knives they have there. I know Jerry Fisk made a trip to South America a while back(Brazil, if I remember correctly), but I'm interested in anyone who might have some information. Thanks.

I know there are custom makers (and production companies) in both Brazil and Argentina. I wouldn't be surprised if there were both in Chile too. Bolivia, however, is another story. Compared to the three above, Bolivia's level of development is miniscule. There could be "custom" makers there, but I'm not sure they'd fall into the definiton you may be thinking. You're best bet is probably to search out a knife or hunting store.

Where will you be in Bolivia, do you speak Spanish?

I'll be in the general vicinity of Santa Cruz. I don't speak spanish, but my sister is fluent, so I'll have a guide. Thanks for the reply.
