Dear forummers,

Am newbie collector interested specifically in Philippine bolos, in particular "hangap" style ifugao working blades using woven rafia bindings on the handle, etc. with wooden scabbards, but also any other working bolos. This may be old ground for a lot of you but would appreciate referral to any sites/individuals selling these.

David we need to talk ! i have several native Bolo's on hand at all times . if i don't have the style your looking for i may be able to point you in the right direction .

Hi,

For older ones; www.nwknives.com sometimes has nice ones. Eiler Cook, 1021 Saddlebrook Dr., Hendersonville, NC 28739 dealt in such knives also.

Ebay is also an option, but you have to know what you're looking at, and many aren't listed right(check under machete).

www.kriscutlery.com also deals in such things.
