This has a nice piece of Cherry and an etched set of bolsters. 4th in a batch of 7 knives. 3 more to finish!! Thanks for looking.
Blade is 0-1 and sheath will be leather.

Beautiful fit and finish Brian!! Good choice on the nickel or stainless bolsters. Not sure which. I think brass wouldn't have given good contrast between the metal and wood. They would have ran into one another if you know what I mean. NICE!

Very nice Brian. I like the temper line very cool touch. I agree with Scott, the bolster really fits the transition from handle to blade. Beautiful work!

Thanks Burnsey!! Thats alot coming from you. You have owned some NICE knives :D Wish I could say this one would be in my knife drawer but I am just glad this is going to be a user for a nice guy.

The temper line looks awsome!! Can I ask, "Do you put any finish on the wood handle slabs?" I am a bit of a rookie and am working on a cherry burl handled chopper and I want to seal the slabs from water, if possible, and still keep the natural look like you have here.

thanks - Bob Urban

I put Teak oil and wax on them. Unless you soak it in water this should give protection enough. You can always resand and oil when needed :D

Should have the sheath done tonight. Almost ready for mail ;)
