Don't know why just wanted to try this. It has 416 bolsters then a mortised tang from there. I was still able to dovetail the bolsters like I normally do. CPM 154 stainless ironwood handle. Harder than a full tang less frustration than a full stick tang :p. I didn't get the seam between the pieces as tight as I wanted I'll have to work on that. Denver City Texas Fire Department gives away a knife at the Christmas party every year and my dad has been a member for all my life so I made the knife this year. The first year I did it my dad won the raffle :D Got to get it cleaned up sharpened then shipped. Let me know your thoughts and critiques. Thanks for looking Ryan

I like it! Really like the stick tang/bolster scheme, and the fit looks pretty good to me, althought I can see how it would be a pain to pull off. Good looking skinner.

Thanks for the comment. I'm going to work on my jig a little bit that I used to line up the bolsters. It's a hair off and caused all my problems.
