Hey, thats my CQC7! Man, I can't wait to get it. I plan on glassbeading the blade when it gets here. I guess I will have to send my Commander turned Rhino to you when Bill gets through with it. Keep up the great work David!

David, you really do some fine work! That '7, like your previous one, looks fantastic! I'm gonna pick up another '7 to send to you for the same treatment.....bolsters and micarta! I just can't understand why the customer wanted a "pocketknife" blade screwed onto the thing though....

Just kidding, Mike, you got a nice piece coming!

I was waiting patiently to see what bolsters would look like on a Commander, and turns out they look much the way I imagined. They're just not for me. IMHO, the Commander looks better with "slab sides." My predjudice notwithstanding, who's the lucky bastage that claims this one???

Guy named Robert out of Georgia gets the Commander. Actually, after I did both I really really wanted to keep both. I would probably never take the time to actually make one for myself....I dun know why cause I should. I did both of these at the same time to cut down transition time from mill machine to grinders, to sanders, to etc. Worked out nicely. I have a secret trick I do to the micarta to make them look better than other stock ones Ive seen.

I actually do like the look of the Commander better with bolsters than without.....I dont know why either, like you dont know why you dont like it this way.

Anyways, www.banditknives.com has to almost shut down for a while cause wife is pregnant and having a hard time. We have three other young kids which I have to take care of while she gets some bed rest.

In the meantime, I will be taking about one knife/month to do...thats all. I would recommend anyone needing something quicker see Kevin Robinson...he does the same thing I do.

Thanks everyone for your support.

p.s. I still want to do a SOCFK!

I am the lucky Commander owner. In my opinion the bolsters look awesome on a Commander. I am now impatiently awaiting its return home. Also, I am still looking for a CQC6 if anyone wants to sell.

David, awesome work as always!

Sorry to hear your having to shut down for a while. I have a new knife coming in that needs some special love from ya.

It'll keep until your ready. Take care of the family.

John, As your knives were done by Ken with me doing some touch up, these two were totally done by me...different style....same end result!

Man.I like that Commander that way!
