Anyone know anything about a knife company called 'Bolte'? I can't find any reference to them on any forum or blog.

Bolte is a Chinese brand labeled as "博尔特" in Chinese character.
Unless you can speak, write Chinese as well as the native, I won't suggest you to find those information on you own. Missleading adevertisements are more and more frequently appered in China during those days and I really hate them.
I have never used any knives from him but receieved some "gengerally good" feedback from my friends.
You can search the channel Phương Nguyễn on youtube... he did some test about Bolte.
