Bombproof knife has arrived !

Yup, finally did it. Ordered me a Ranger Signature Series RD6. Made in America, Olean NY. It is actually 1/8" thicker than my BK-2 (which is a 1/4" thick). 3/8 of an inch thick of pure awesomeness !!! Also ordered 2 Becker Necker's for my wife & daughter ! :thumbup: Can't wait to get them. WooHoo!

That's a good looking little chopper! 3/8" thick? If you are wearing it on your belt when you jump on a live grenade, there's no doubt the knife will be ok. That's certainly the tool to use when a guy is fiddling with disarming an IED.

LOL I would NEVER wear a knife like that on my belt only. I have drop down setups on ALL my large blades, so it is between my knee & my hip & is attatched to my belt and my leg. Don't even know it's there then & you can jump into & out of vehicles all day long, without the handle poking you in the side. You can stand up, sit down, squat, ect with no bind at all. Just made a new custom set up for my BK-2 last night.

Compared to my 1/4" thick BK-2

I LOVE IT !!! These should be standard issue to our Troops that are in harms way, for those that want them. Can't wait to get an awesome edge on it. Not as sharp as i was hopeing for on a $150 blade though. The fun begins. LOL

I haven't handled any of the newer ones but I have three of the RD series when Justin was making them and they're certainly tough knives.

They've handled everything I've thrown at them.

Sheath is just a cheapy. I have not even put it into it yet. Don't know if i want to scratch it up just yet. But will eventually.

That's not knife... that's straight crow bar with edge and handle slapped one end That has pure wow factor...
