Picked up the 15050-2 today (cocobolo scales) and couldn't be more pleased. Reminds me of my Buck King Charles on steroids. Knife has a sharp and centered blade with very even bevels. Lockup is rock solid, no gaps or anything on the scales. Love the clip! About the only surprises so to speak, were the weight and the half stop. Was thinking it would be a bit heavier but it's surprisingly light. The half stop is something I'm used to on my various slipjoints but I've not had a backlock before with this feature. Kind of gives it some old school charm. Very glad I decided to pull the trigger on one of these. If you've not considered this model you might want to. if you've been considering one but haven't checked one out then you really should but bring your wallet cause I bet that once you get it in your hand you'll be putting it in your pocket.

I like it too, picked one up a couple months ago. Nice knife, the only anoying thing is that the blade is loose as hell and shifts around when closed. Even if I tighten the pivot on it to prevent that, it just loosens itself again after a few days. Still has a great fit and finish, and solid when open though.

Thanks for the reply. I've had mine in my pocket or in my hand since Saturday and it's been great. Mine has no play open or closed. Made short work of some mail today but haven't done much other than admire it so far. Have you tried a little blue Loctite on the pivot threads or perhaps a little piece of Teflon plumbers tape on the threads.

My all time favorite pocket knife - for nearly four decades - is a Buck 110. That BC LB is like BM's interpretation... sort of... better in some ways! Great knife!
