I just recieved my new Benchmade Bone collector im realy amazed at the weight and how it feels. Its a realy heavy duty knife, nothing like any other axis lock knifes i have. It puts the griptillian to shame. Also it didnt realy cost that much. Im garbage at giving reviews but i just want to let you know that it is a great knife. Freaking sweet. We need cutlerylover to take a look at it. Or knifezoid

Also the G-10 on it looks amazing forgot to mention that. Just an all around sweet knife worth the bucks. Check it out if you havent already.

Nice heavy duty knife with a fat grip. I don't like to carry a knife that fat in pocket though. So for me I'd have to get a holster for it. Still a nice knife.

As a D2 fan, I kinda want this one also, I like the overall style, but so far have only found the small version in a store, so waiting to get the full size in hand before buying.

Yea it has a decent size grip, but it is just right it aint so fat to the point of being uncomfortable. In my opinion anyway its good.

I really like this knife and pretty much everything about it. However, I will probably not own one since I already have a Griptilian (2, actually).

It is nice looking.
You said a FAT grip, is it as thick as a Grip?

I can't think of a folder I've had that had a thicker grip. It's more like the Dozier fixed blade I once had. Very comfortable in hand, but not so much in smaller pockets.

Got mine over a month ago and I really, really like this knife. At 5.5 ounces it is not that heavy, but it does feel solid, and I like that. If I wasn't a knifeknut this would really be all the knife I would ever need.

Glad I'm a knifeknut though!:D

I've had my 15020-1 (plain edge) like that for a while - great user! I have it on good authority that Mrs. Santa has me a 15030-2 under the tree. That's a mini BC - plain edge - walnut scales. My 950 Rift arrived after the BC - and was anti-climatic. The BC is a bargain, too. Not much of a fan of the BC skull logo, however.

I think the Bone Collector Deer and skull logo is badass..But it dont belong on the Blade, Thats not common of benchmade to do somthing like that. You should see the box it arrives in totally out of the ordinary imo. But other than that Great Knife.

I have a Mini Bone Collector. I like the size much better than the full sized. It doesn't get much pocket time. It's a little too fat, but comfortable grip. I prefer to carry slimmer knives.

I do the same thing somtimes, i have a mini kulgera and a bm mini 51. G10 is my fav on knife handles haha:thumbup:

15030-2 plain edge - walnut scales.

I have #26 of the 1st prod. I gave it a light sanding on the edges of the

ribbed grips, especially around the torx screw. This one is not

a pocket eater like the Presidio (520).

I really like the looks of the walnut grips that are now available.
