Bone handles pros and cons

Ok so im just wanting to know if you can burn designs into bone handles and the pros and cons compared to wood

Hmmm, I'm not sure about burning designs into bone. Never heard of it, but I'm not a big time bone-r. What I do know you can do is scrimshaw. Take a look into scrimshawing, it's really cool! My grandpa would scrimshaw whales teeth and made some really cool pieces. I inherited a handful of whales teeth and would like to try doing the same some day.

Wood is a more stable material, if treated right it will last a long time in poor conditions. Bone requires maintenance, else it warps and cracks.

Sure. You can burn a design into anything with high enough heat.
