I recently bought this NIB at a gun show, and I know it's not Delrin it's most likely bone, but the surface texture feel more like stag. It's a Sears Craftsman from the 80's and it was made in Japan by the same company that makes Parker/Frost stuff. I have a small Frost Pen knife my brother gave me in "81" that has real stag scales so is it possible these are stag?

that is bone... I may be wrong for sure, but I don't think so.
I was wrong once in 1966 and ain't heard the end of that one yet.

Definitely bone or second cut stag. The real second cut stag is the interior of the antlers, after the bark has been cut off, which is used (and jigged) like bone.

I forgot about second cut stag....I cut a lot of bone and stag in high school making knives in shop class, and this just feels like stag when I handle it. Maybe second cut???
