My third thread in the past 8 hours or so, wow. Well, I guess it's official now, as I've gone and done put another large Sebenza Classic wood inlaid on order for the end of Jan., and I'm now bonkers for 'Benzas, and have made myself an official Sebenzanista! Went with a lighter colored wood this time and got one with Lignum Vitae wood. The pictures almost show a green tint to the wood? I did a search on this wood and found it is one of the hardest and most dense woods there are. I did say in an earlier post I may try and collect a few Sebenza's over the next few months or so and have decided to stay with the large Classics with wood inlays, or ivory if I can find one. It's really strange how only a few hours with a Sebenza brought back so much desire in me to acquire more!:thumbup::thumbup:

Congrats Cutter! I'm always trying to expand my collection as well. I just ordered a large micarta inlay w/spirograph Damascus from the factory. Can't wait to see pix of your new one!

Happy Holidays

:)

I've had many Sebbies over the years and it never fails to amaze me the at the level of precision with which each Sebbie made.;)

I haven't taking the plunge yet....but I like your selections/taste cutter17......pix of your lignum vitae, pretty please?:thumbup:

Sebbbies ARE awesome!! Congrats on getting yourself some GREAT Sebbies!!

They are the finest knives made IMO (Most customs included). Sebbies are the only knives I truly trust, if that makes any sense. I just can't have too many.
