I got a surprise yesterday when a customer mentioned he had seen my FIF weapon, the tabar shishpar, in a bonus clip of the worlds five best axes. We googled it and lo and behold, there is one.

This clip shows for the first time the hidden dagger I put inside the handle. Here it is.


Not only that but we found two other bonus clips.



This thread is just for fun so lets please not make it into "What I hate about FIF"

Now I'd like to see your favorite clips from FIF.
 
Thanks bud. For those of you that like the show, there is a new one starting June third called FIF Beat The Judges. The first show was good but the new one should be really good, and very challenging for the bladesmiths and the judges.

In the new show, they take three past winners and pit them against each other and the judges. It's grueling, but I can't tell you how I know :).
 
Awesome Mark, I remember when your episode aired you mentioned the hidden knives but they were never shown.

I read that's a 'backronym' they came up with to make it more 'family friendly'.....;)
 
Yes it was definitely done “after the fact”, early shows he clearly says kill because it’s a KILL TEST.
