I took my small box elder burl 21 apart a couple nights ago for cleaning and noticed a few more holes in the scales that aren't there on a 21 without inlays.
Anyone know what these are for?
I'm sure there's a reason, I'm just curious as to what it is.
If I get a minute I'll take it apart at lunch and post a pic of the inside of the scales, but in the mean time you can see the holes in question in the pic below.
The larger hole on the left is the lanyard hole, and you can't see the hole that's usually on a 21's handled in this pic.
The smaller holes to the left and right of the standoff are the ones I'm talking about.
There's one on the lock side scale, too.
