Hello,
I was just wondering if anybody has experience with the buckeye burl from Buck, I have asked if this was a diamond wood product on this forum and everybody told me that it was wood years ago my first buck knife I had wood handle and a chunk fell out I was just wondering what the durability was if people have this on their knives now thank you so much

I own a few users in buckeye burlwood....I havent beat on them or anything but I've used with sweaty hands and dirty mess stuff cutting theyve done okay for me so far. depends on what your going to do. dropping on concrete I'd expect potential problems with it. normal cutting stuff I think theyll be fine. mine have been so far.

Thank you very much I think who ordered one again thanks for taking the time to answer this.

Thank you everyone I did order one with the burl, blue wood and the g10, thank you everybody for your comments much appreciated.

Buckeye burl is stabilized with a 2 part resin so it's going to be more durable than plain wood. It isn't laminated.
