Book on basics

Somebody posted a link to a book on knives,terms,and sharpening. It looked awesome, i didn't have the 15 dollars. I do now and cant find the link. Looked on amazon, googled, general search of the forums, nada!! Any ideas? Please
 
Here is one thread I found for you about knife books. It is from late last year.
I find going out on Google and searching and then click on the ones that say Bladeforums is the best way to search this forum.

It may be considered a little basic but I’ve always liked “Wayne Goddard’s $50 knife shop”. It’s more geared toward a beginning knife maker but it covers lots of basics.
 
Levine's guide to knives. :thumbsup: It gives a lot of values, but also a ton of information on terms and styles, etc. I believe #4 is the current one but, for your purposes, you may save a few bucks getting an older edition. :cool: I still enjoy looking through my #2 edition purchased a good while back. :D
 
Many many thanks to everybody that responded to this original post. I did find the book the name of the book is "a Primer on Folding Knives" by Stephen Roman. I think his website is knife professor.com
