book on bush craft

Mors K. book "Bushcraft" is very good. Can't remember how to spell his last name. Kolinski or something.

I just picked up the SAS Survival Handbook. I havent read it all, but it seems very comprehesive.

:D I read through that book a couple of times, IMO which isn't much when it comes to survival anything, it was a very good book. Also don't make the mistake I did and let a friend borrow it, it may end up missing.

Speaking of survival, hey Jeff do you plant green beans? I remember talking to you about putting out a garden but I couldn't remember if you raised green beans. If so next year plant a few morning glories in with the beans, like 1 a row, the beans closest to the morning glories always seem to be the biggest.

I like the little pocket SAS guide. Very easy to keep with a survival kit. I have the US Army survival manual too.

Any of yall look at les stroud's survival book? I browsed through it. It looks like a good read.

I saw it not to long ago and I flipped through, I think the price kept me from buying it though. It looked filled with information.

I can't believe no Americans have mentioned "Camping and Woodcraft" by Horace Kephart or "Woodcaft" by "Nessmuk" George W. Shears. Both very fine historic writings that should be in everyones collection, IMO.

How about one of Ray Mears' books?
