Amazing sort of historical account...

I just picked up an old copy of "The Amiable Assassins," which is about the Kachin tribes in Burma that the OSS used against the Japanese. By Ian Fellowes-Gordon. They are also kukri users.

about ten years ago. Don't know if it's the same book. Enjoyed the hell out of the Gurkha soldier mindest. They just seem to take to following orders and like to mix it up in hand to hand.
