I have seen no mention of Wayne Goddard's new book "The Wonder of Knifemaking". HAs anyone purchased a copy and willing to give a summary of its contents and your impressions? I realize that it's a new addition to knifemaking literature, but thought someone must have at least skimmed/perused a copy. I'm thinking of adding it to my library.

I will be seeing Wayne Goddard in april for the Ore. Knife Show in Eugene Ore. I will ask him about it and buy one for myself. Autographed. I got Ed fowlers book last year. Wayne Goddard is going to test me and my bowie for my journyman status in ABS. Bruce Bump

It hasn't been printed yet, So the only way you could have read it was get it from Wayne or the people that are printing it. I have it on order from Amazom.com plus I am going to get an Autographed copy from Wayne

I spoke with Wayne last April at the OKCA show in Eugene about his book and he explained it would be a collection of the Q&A and advice columns he as published in Blade over the years.
Since I personally have found almost everything Wayne has published in Blade VERY useful and educational I am sure it will be a great book and a valuable addition to the knifemaking resources currently available.
Those of you familiar with Ed Fowler's book (another GREAT book), I think it will be very similar in format to that, but with a lot more pictures/drawings. Wayne is a great teacher with a wealth of knowledge and an ability to share it clearly, IMHO.
Don't mean to review a book that isn't even out yet, but that is what he told me so I thought I would pass it on.
I will also be buying mine directly from Wayne so the money goes to him, and I urge everyone to do the same.
