Are you sure you don't mean "The Wonder of Knifemaking?" It's by Wayne Goddard formerly of Blade Magazine. It's a wealth of good usable information.

I just got that boook 2 weeks ago. I LOVE IT!!!!! It is what I call an academic book, as he answers your questions in the book by arguing why a certain blade shape or material would be ideal, testing blades amd m much more detail. Gotta go!
