Someone, maybe John Powell, will be conversant with it.

( Just a guess, what do I know. Amazing what the folks here come up with, though. )

Which leads to trying:
Cut and past this next line into the www.google.com query line:
bookseller OR "book sales" military weapon history OR historical used

Somehow I can't get a full content link to work.
You should be able to find someplace on this list to buy the books (set of 3)

Dean, thanks very much, It is most likely me being dumb, but having done the google thing and checked the links you most kindly provided still cant find a copy to buy. I will keep trying. Cheers from Aussie. Rod

If I believed this actually happened I'd go insane.

Come to think of it, itis time for my medication, as a matter of fact.

Thanks Clearblue, yes these are other titles by Pant . unfortunatley not the one I am looking for. Thanks anyway , very much appreciated. Regards Rod

Pant's books are not my personal favorites because much of what he has is a rehash of previously published pieces. Volume 2 is the only one that deals in any depth with kukris and koras. That information is taken from Stone's Glossary which is another neccesary book.

Get an Egerton reprint and definitely add Rawson's "Indian Sword" (one just sold on eBay for less than $40! A steal!!!). For military information find Ron Flook's "British and Commonwealth Military Knives". Out of print, but I have seen it on Amazon.

Rod, send me an email directly and maybe I can give you another source.

You might also try bookfinder.com

I have found some hard to find books thru them. They are almost a clearing house for all those mentioned. I can't say enough good things about abe.books and Amazon really backs up what they sell.

Amazon.com didn't have this particular volume, but had several of the ones that Mr. Powell mentioned. I just bought a used copy of Stone's Glossary for $19 shipped from them.

Steve

Thanks to everyone, this is however now I think just about mission impossible,
seems the book is out of print , cant find any used copies.Rod
