Is there any specific books published on Khukuris? I have Rawson "The Indian Sword" which dedicates one chapter to the Nepalese weapons including the Khukuri. The amount of information is very slim for academic research. Could you give me some hints?

John Powell is working on one. When he gets it published it will be a first. And, I'll personally pin the HI Legion of Merit medal on him.
 
John has not given us a firm date. But, we are all waiting for a copy.

Getting that book together is an almost unsurmountable task and one that I refused to take on. I warned John that it would take five years of hard work and even then he would not be satisfied. I hope he gets it done while I'm still here to read it but I am not holding my breath. John has given himself a very difficult assignment.
