I did a search on this forum but did not find a thread about the literature of traditional knives. Is there a primer, a book that gives a good overview of the history of traditional knives? If not, what resources are there to learn more about traditional knives?

There's a book about Great Eastern Cutlery that I know for sure. It might be good place to start reading. I'll pm you the link.

I've found "Counterfeiting Antique Cutlery" by Gerald Witcher to be a goldmine of valuable information if you're interested in older knives.
