Which books are best to learn knife making from? This is a good quetion. I'm surprise I havn' seen more discussion on books

If you're starting from scratch, get a copy of Wayne Goddard's, $50 Knife Shop. Lots of people start therenas he teaches you how to acquire tools and set up a basic knifemakers shop. It includes knife projects from stock removal to forging blades, even how to make damascus.

Another good book would be Tim McCreight's Custom Knifemaking. This has 10 knife projects for you make or modify.
