Are there any INFI Boom Parangs?

Please show me some user pics... and how do you all like them in use??

.

No INFI BPs yet, but they're still sweet users in SR-101:

I've rambled on a fair amount about mine in this forum since it landed. It's a really solid performer. Nice balance, handles well, low fatigue, hits really hard. The shape of the spine works great for batoning. Performance out of the box was awesome, but I reprofiled mine to 15° per side anyway and now it's a monster.

Awesome... thanks for the reply!!

It's a shame there are no INFI BPs out there... bossman's gotta get crackin' on that!

More beater pics please... I love the look of this beast!!

I have stripped mine, and reprofiled it (of course), but have not had occasion to use it. It feels good with air chops. Would put up pics, but Photobucket is being stupid.

Or, it could be user error......

I think a lot of people regret not picking the BP when it was available. I love mine and would jump on an Infi version in a second.

IMHO, SR101 has 90% of the performance of INFI at 60% of the cost, so it is certainly cost effective for big blades.

And any number of people prefer SR101 for small blades and it's edge-holding in those applications.

I know ... heresy. Ah well.

Np! Here's another one, someone asked for a better pic of the reprofiled bevel a while back:

Looking good Jaxx!

This thread makes me want to go chop something!! Been sidelined by injury for a few months, but I'm mended now and hope to sneak out with some big blades for a couple of hours tomorrow. I have a CG BB13 that still needs to be properly broken in too. :D

Mine has been used. Chopped a little and made my kindling with it for a while. It's stripped now and I haven't used it since. Dang it. The BB13's have had my attention.

I plan to hit it with the sander soon and have my buddy put a nice edge on it.

I'd definitely be up for one in INFI.

Almost forgot that I put a d-guard on my BP. Tried it out for the first time today. I thought maybe I wove it too big at first, but with gloves on it felt pretty good. A little extra retention without restricting my grip options and there's no way your hand is going to slip forward onto the blade.

Not entirely sure whether it's there to stay yet, but wanted to give it a try since Jerry actually suggested running some paracord on this one. So far it looks promising.
