Boondocks Saint 3... Anticipating It?

I am a big fan of the first two Boondock Saints movies and am excited for the third. Last Update I heard was from the director which said he was in the process of writing the third and was taking his time as to make sure it is quality. He said he hopes it does not become comic bookish. Does anyone else know more about it? It will obviously be about breaking them out of prison. Is anyone excited for this or scared that they might not make this one as well? Last thing I would want is the movie to be really cheesy.

The first one was fun but a little goofy. Never saw the second one. Straight to video? Willem Dafoe is a good actor but not someone that will put customers in movie seats. The one brother, whose name I forget at the moment, is a good actor but an unknown. Norman Reedus will take a lot to get him off the set of his hit money maker. The comedian that plays the father might be shooting wrap up for the Hobbit 3.

I see a straight to video movie, but I'll rent it. The first one was a lot of fun.

Seen them both and will most likely watch the third. Pretty good but if you're a fan of the series I recommend the documentary "Overnight". All about Troy Duffy's antics regarding the first Boondock Saints. A real eye opener.
