L-6 booshways and knatchets on the way....

Total of 3 knatchets, 2 booshways and 2 baby booshies all in L-6. This load of steel was hard for my kiln to digest! Heat treating tonight and should be grinding them by tomorrow. plan on doing a couple booshways in 5160 soon....
 
MAN! I can't wait for that Booshway in L6 we discussed. That L6 is gonna be sweet Mark.

I'd like a Knatchet (not convexed, if possible...) if there is one available.

Don, I had to have it surface ground to true it up, I have profiled it and drilled the holes in the handle, should be ready for heat treat by next weekend.

I can grind the knatchet either way. Flat or convex. Couple of the these came out around 3.25 inches tall. I am thinking of grinding them about half way up the blade to make the grind around 1.75 inches tall. This round of L-6 heat treated up perfect...

I am really slow on emails. We just finished with a 9 day road trip to MO and brought back stuff so we had to move-in so to speak this past week. I am also taking tests this week in two classes:eek:, Call me if you guys need something:thumbup:

Got a big load of L-6 headed this way. when it gets here gonna do another run of booshways and that new campknife !!!

HUGE progress. 2 knatches ground and handled !!! 1 knatchet and 1 booshway ground ready for handles, and one large chunk of D2 almost ready for heat treat :thumbup:, that D2 was THICK, its gonna look like it came out of Horton's shop!!!! :D
 
I have to stop reading these posts Mark as I really want the Booshway I ordered and I know it's a while. :)

Don gets first pick, he got the ball rolling with a nice deposit! After he picks then the other tow are up for grabs. The brown micarta is flat ground and the other two are convex ground with a secondary edge....

I found a source of steel that lets me keep the price at 200.00 for these. I can't throw in a sheath like on the booshway at this price though.... shipping is 15.00 Thanks!

Here's where I am at on booshways ..... this is the L-6 run with Don's D2 thrown in just for fun....

Booshway packages are 200.00 plus 15.00 shipping THIS INCLUDES A LEATHER SHEATH! If I quoted you 225 for knife and sheath, disreguard that quote and go with the 215.00 shipped....

Baby bushies are 125.00 plus 15.00 for shipping, and that includes a sheath.
