I have a co-worker who is going to be doing some work in Central America. Mostly city work, business attire. He just got one of the RC-3MIL that I had ordered and he was wondering about carrying it in a boot or around the ankle. Any advice? And I don't want to hear not to carry it due to various countries laws about weapons. I am sure there will not be a problem. :D

...but an ace bandage might have an advantage...concealing a knife or obvious sheath around your ankle if your pantsleg were to be raised..

Oh yea, I've done it quite a few times. Comfortable and holds secure.

Hey inspector, check your email. I'm hooking you up with another operator that travels to Latin America all the time and uses an ankle rig for one of our knives. He built it himself but it works really well. He's in a field office close to you also.

And that's the reason I sometimes use Spanish...to sound "profound" !
