Boot Knife for a lady, A2 and black linen micarta

Her last knife was only a few months into my first year. Now, one year later, my effort is more intentional.
Posting here first - she doesn't get to see it for a few more days.

blade is just under 3" long, 1/8" A2 @1000grit
Handle is 3/16" black linen micarta @360grit (tang at 600) - slim
9/64" stainless pins
