Boot knife mystery

Custom boot knife purchased in 1978 in Maine. Can anyone identify the maker from these photos?

Looks like a well made little boot dagger and that mark looks like some type of oak leaf. It's a good chance it's made of 440-C as a lot of knife makers used it back then. As far as knowing the maker I really haven't a clue. The guys that hang around the custom knives forum may be able to help you also.
