Decided to revisit one of my old patterns. First started making this style after meeting Tommy Lee at the first Australian Knifemakers Guild Show in 1993.

Blade is deep hollow ground CPM154 with a 600 grit hand satin finish. Full tapered tang supports 416 bolsters and stabilised Giraffe bone scales with black G10 liners and stainless Corby's. A bit on the large size for a boot Knife at 9 3/4" over all, it has a 5" blade.

Top edge not sharp, around 1/6" thick at the ricaso, tapering to zero at the point. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

So clean, especially the grinds. Beautiful Boot Knife. A good example where Giraffe bone can really make a fine knife handle.
