boot knife?

does anyone think the columbia river knife and tool triumph neck knife would make a good boot knife? just put :thumbup: or :thumbdn:

the steel is pretty soft on the ones I've used. Wouldn't make a good utility knife IMO. But if your looking for self defense I don't think that'd be an issue.
