Anyone know where to find black boot laces like the thin, really tuff ones on military issue boots? The soft ones don't pull through speed lace hooks well and I need black for work.

I just got some waxed kevlar boot laces from Benchmark Basics (on Amazon) for my flight boots, they're way better than the ones that were on the boots when I was issued them. I've also used the standard Kiwi boot laces, they did ok despite being a little thick, but I don't have speed hooks to worry about.
Whatever you do, stay away from the brand Iron Lace. They fade to grey in about a month, and white a month later. Definitely not good for uniform boots.
