as a HeliTak fire ranger! Starting monday I'll be in canadian shield territory jumping out of helicopters and tearing forest fires new ones left and right!

I dont think it rained once in april (snowed a few times :grumpy: though) and the wild fires be raging! Looks like I'll be getting plenty of over time, definitely be making more per cheque than I can piss away on liqueur (especially considering the cheap swill I drink) so as long as there's internet out there I'm gonna be all up in this trough.

The bad thing is I have to leave sunday night, and Monday is the day that I'll be getting my getting my sar5, skinny ash and boney ad... breaking my balls...

LilFoo, I considered it but came to the conclusion of no f'in way. :D
Mostly because we'll have axes and chainsaws, and there's no way in hell I'm lugging around that heavy bitch all day every day when I will hardly be using it, and also I dont have a sheath... :(

I'm going to bring my AD, victorinox farmer and a mora 2000 (for food prep).

Heh, I just got offered another job, same position but 500km farther up north. Glad they didnt call first, or I'd be in for a hell of a commute.

I have a question though, will you be buying some custom shop super Busse to assist you in tree clearing and general fire fighting duties? Some sort of enlarged BM with a full convex grind perhaps?

That depends on whether youre offering me one. Oh, and I'm pretty sure fire rangers are entitled to some sort of obscene discount, dont worry I'll cover the shipping at least. :D

One way or another I'll be watching. If there's broadband out there I'll catch it live (or shortly after the event) otherwise I'll have to get my girlfriend to download, burn and mail them to me. :thumbsup:
