Anyone know how much powdered borax to use with water to make a solution to spray down the plywood floor.
I wanted to try this instead of paint.
I then plan to put some 22 gauge 304 ss sheets by the work area.
Thanks in advance,

Ask over in the "wooden boat" subforum, those guys spray borax on everything.

Borax does have anti-mold properties and you only need a small amount .Too much water will hurt the plywood.
A smooth sheet of steel is going to be slippery !! I have some 2'x2' aluminum TREADPLATE I've used as flooring. I have left over pieces ,wantsome ?? Were in NY are you ? I'm in Sullivan Co.

not water antifreeze the old school kind yes it will make your floor hard as a rock and never rot very good stuff. you have to heat it up so it will mix

Thanks, that is very nice of you. But I live in long Island, ny. I have used 22g ss for 28 years on the floor of my primate center. Put small pieces of duct tape and keeps it from getting slippery when wet, and cages got hosed down twice a day.
This treadplate has no holes ?
How much do u want for each 2 by 2. ?
Thanks,

17 pieces, 2' x 2' x 1/16" aluminum treadplate , No holes . You may have them if you pick them up. PM me if interested.
