are ya talking about biorder patrol pistol grips for DA revolvers ala smith 66,65,19,27,etc??

they were designed by bill jordan who was in the BP.

I know that Randall knives uses a design they call the Border Patrol on some of their knives. The #14 feels great with it instead of the standard finger grip handle shape. I do knot know if it was them that coined that name/shape in a knife grip though.

The Randall knife grip was a special request from a special agent, forgot the name write now. It was for a "one of a kind knife," for the dept. The grip was later adopted as a special order for the model 14 and model 15.
