I spose I should just keep my Vic Trekker and be happy. Like I ...WAS!
Until I got...BORED!
Now.....I want a comfy handled grippy sorta spear type sticky blade with good steel.
I may give up knives and take up ballroom dancin.

3 threads in 10 minutes...

yup, you must be bored... :D

How about a mini Manix?

How about a paramilitary?

How about a small Sebenza?

How about a Benchmade 707?

No want aluminum handle.
Lookin at Pardue Ambush
4059 KaBar with Zytel
RSK1
Couple other BM's that seem to have a fairly pointy profile but thin geometry.

I'm sick.

Sounds like a Spyderco Native to me. One of my personal favorites.

Oh, and how about the Scorpius?

Arthritic thumb rules out the Native. Had one. Loved it. But it hurt to open it.
Sound sorta like James Bond?

:D :D

a hand forged, 'Spirit Blade' , by Shiva Ki; samurai steel, rayskin wrapped handle; best knife you may ever have. - - $3800.00 usd
- you will probably never get *bored* again....

crkt m-16 spearpoint
CS Ti-Lite?

Dunno how grippy they may be but they fit the blade profile and money range.

WAIT! Wait wait wait......woddabout the Benchmade 910 ....CHISEL GRIND?

Huh? tough? mean. Huh?

It might be a hair over your budget, but take a look at the Benchmade 732 Ares. I just snagged one from another forumite, and man, this is the folder I've been looking for for years. Spear point 154CM, G-10, full steel liners, Axis lock... It's beeee-yootiful.
