BOS on 277 Alpha Hunter?

I recently purchased a Buck model 277 Alpha folding hunter with rosewood grips. Love it! Great Knife! My question is, on the blade there is a small symbol that looks like a sideways flame and the letters BOS. I have a few Bucks and have never seen this before. Could somebody tell me what it is? Thank you!

.223, The Flame and Bos are the logo for Paul Bos Heat Treating. Paul Bos' shop heat treated the blade on your Alpha Hunter.
