Tony (and Reese) along with Eugene Shadley and Terry Davis are some of the finest traditional makers who's work is available.
Although I do not get to see Terry's work very often. With other guys (Richard Rogers, Baily Bradshaw, Joel Chamblin and Dan Burke for example) hot on their heels. There may be others , but these are the folks whose work I am familiar with.
Once you handle the work from any of these guys and a couple others you will understand.
These knives (multiblade slip joints) are very difficult to make "right" and the difference between production and the hand made in this area is awesome when the maker has reached the level that Tony and others have reached.
