Well, I will probably not make to to Blade, and anyway, I am not any good at winning drawings.

But I had some fun going to the Bose web site and asking myself "If I could win only one of these, which one would I want?"

So I thought that it might be nice to ask the all the folksy people the same question. At present, there are 15 knives (sixteen if you count the last 2 as one lot).

If you could win the drawing for only one, which would it be?

The list is below. I am crummy at posting links, you will just have to go to the Bose site: http://boseknives.com/gallery/main.php?g2_itemId=1834
to see the knives that are going to Blade:

T.Bose 3 3/8" Standard Spear Point Barlow
T.Bose 3.5" Stag Teardrop Gents Knife
R.Bose 3" Stag Coffin Jack
R.Bose 3 7/8" Stag Swellcenter Baloon
T.Bose 4.5" Case Brown Bone Arkansas Hunter
T.Bose Ebony Cotton Sampler
R.Bose 4 1/4" Stag Saddlehorn Trapper
R.Bose Brown Bone Sowbelly
T.Bose Ivory Yukon Folding Hunter

T.Bose Remington Bone Lockback Whittler
R.Bose Brown Bone Dogs Head Trapper
R.Bose Brown Bone Eureka Jack
T.Bose Remington Bone Harness Jack
T.Bose Standard Barlow Utica Bone
T.Bose Dogshead Trapper Serialized Pair "3"

As for me, I would choose that beautiful Tony Bose lockback whittler. They are all beautiful, but that one really makes me catch my breath. What say all you folksy people?

No question here, for me it would be a very easy decision to make....the spearpoint barlow.

Very hard to pick just one. How about one from each? Cattleman's from Tony, dog's head from Reese.

Reese's Coffin Jack really appeals to me. So does Tony's Spear Point Barlow, which looks simple and straightforward (almost plain) but really grabs my attention. Love that grind!

Easy choice....teardrop gents knife. I would carry it everyday to the office;)

It would not matter, but the dog's head set with the flush joints would put me on the ceiling for the rest of the show.

The Arkansas Hunter stands way out in front in the crowd for me. When I handled that knife to "shoot it" I couldn't shake the fact that it is an extremely impressive knife. It would be an easy one to backpocket carry and I WOULD CARRY that sucker! :)

Hey Mike...I don't see a cattle knife in that list, but if there was one, I would pick that guy.;)

I really like Reese's Brown Bone Sowbelly, but unfortunately I cant be there, and therefor cant win anything. :(

I guess I've watched too much Mary Poppins...first thing I thought of when I read that was that silly scene from the movie with Ed Wynn and Dick Van Dyke, "I Love to Laugh".

Yep...sure would be tough to come down from the ceiling after winning the chance to get that #3 set.

Wishful thinking on my part. Then I'll go with the Hunter, or the whittler, or the, nevermind. Any one will do.

For me it's the Reese Eureka, handsdown, unless they show something from now til then.

But today,I had lunch, with my good buddy who will be there at Blade w/me.His Bro was there,he is a retired cotton importer/exporter,living like a king in Paraguay. We told him of the Tony Bose Cotton sampler. We told him,if we win it,it's his.To be a family hierloom.
He explained how that knife would be used,in the "sampling" of cotton bails

Tony Harness jack, who'da thought? But me likey!!
You should know the travel arrangements I will go through, being landlockeed on the east tip of the Island here Almost 3 hrs, involved, before even getting to JFK airport!! It'll be worth it,either way.I look at it as a lifetime type experience!
BTW,cut me some slack,I'm peeing pure vodka here after lunch w/these boys

If I had the chance to have just one it would have to be the T.Bose 3.5" Stag Teardrop Gents Knife.

I love Wharncliffe blades and the overall look and pocketability of this knife just calls to me. That is one gorgeous slip joint.

Kerry,

Thanks for getting those up. What a treat to be able to see them before they are gone:cool:. The pics are great!

T.Bose Remington Bone Lockback Whittler is gotta be mine!!!! At least I can dream a little.
