Latest knife. It's a looker!!

Bosnian Damascus from Valiant. 16” OAL, 400 grams with 9 1/2” blade.9 1/2" - 3/16" hand-forged-to-shape Damascus steel, double grooved, tapered, sharpened & hardened.

I got it from Bill, he was having a DOTD cuz the scabbard has a small scuff on the other side. Not a big deal to me and I'd been wanting this knife for a long time. Kinda weird timing, since I tried for an HI knife on the DOTD, but it was the day emails weren't going through the BF site and I missed out and happened to see the DOTD Bill was offering so I jumped on it.
 
I love the overall look and craftmanship. The handle looks like it could be uncomfortable.

I thought it would be awkward to hold when I got it, but it fits my hand perfectly and is very comfortable. Besides, it's not like you're going to chop a tree down with it.;)
 
Beautiful Knife Ted!:thumbup: :D :cool: I have yet to see any of the Valiant line of blades that I dislike. I'd like to have 'em all and would have more than the Kujang Macan that I do have if I was still working!
A Golok *IS* on my list for the future though.;) :D :cool:
