Boss HG55 Custom work?

I'm relatively new to the Busse Family (have bought 8 of them since January) and just received my LE HG 55 today. The knife is gorgeous but I would like a more refined edge put on it by someone much more skilled than myself.

Do you guys have any suggestions as to who could do this work? I know I'd be taking some of the strength out of the edge but I'd like to have more bevel and a sharper edge.

There are many talented folks who could do this. The question is -- who isn't too busy right now?

Just a few: Jeremy Horton, Ban Tang, Tom Krein (the Grind Monkey), Tim Randucci, and Richard J. Those are the ones I think of first.

You can reach all of them through BF. It all depends on how much free time they've got right now (every one of them is often involved in their own projects).

There is a young guy that hangs out in the Wilderness forum named siguy (Simon) who does a very nice convex job. I think he lives in CT, so closer to you.
 
My best bet goes to Ban or Jeremy Horton. both those guys knives have shown my hands very sharp edges. for sure!!!

This is what I did.

It's ridiculously cheap to become a paying member here, considering the value this forum offers.
 
I agree OP. V1911, when you do upgrade, dont forget to change your status to gold, it will not do it by itself. You habve to change it in the user CP
