I'm in the UK and thinking of ordering a Boss Jack CG but the large choice of blade color and handle choice is making my eyes spin.
What would be the best color combo to go with from a resale point of view ? Maybe only a dealer would know that.
Without a few months use I can't be sure it's the knife for me.
From the photos I'm tempted by canvas black or tan.

ive found that black canvas with a black or sage blade is quite popular with just about all models.

black blade with orange G10 handles should be real popular.

I personally like sage or muddy with tan canvas - these should be popular as well.

Black w/ black g-10 is always a cool combo, that sales pretty easy.

Look into the desert sage blade with black and tan g-10. Thats what I went for. It looks amazing.

Pumpkin is a very popular combo. But a black blade with black micarta wouldn't be bad incase someone in the future wants a user and prefers micarta over G-10.

Could always get an arctic white coati....... wait....... never mind ;)

Jungle Green with Black Paper and Sage with Black Canvas both look really sharp paired together. G-10 looks really good but it's extra money so sticking with micarta is probably a good idea until you know what you like for sure.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, keep them coming. I'm in England and can't actually see the knifes before buying.
The Busse website seems, for the most part, to be using computer generated colors which doesn't help.

So far there have been 11 different suggestions. The most popular being 3x Sage/Black Canvas.

You can't go wrong with it. Jerry has posted that he likes that combo. When the black coating was smoother and the tan canvas turned red/burgundy with use, Black with Tan Canvas was the cat's meow. The ergo era is dominated by it. There have been a lot of choices in past few years instead of just black or tan canvas and black crinkle coat. I do miss the old tan coating. It has to be the toughest coating from BC that I've ever used.

sage/black canvas is a good choice but there are so many and they would all be good too. I will just add that if your not sure and think it may have to go then I would go with canvas. Its usually has the best grip but mainly because its the cheapest. Whereas, g10 is always more. So, I wouldnt buy it unless I really liked it under these circumstances.

Happy Hunting and welcome to the Madness:cool:

Sage and Black Canvas is a good combination for re-sale (understated, easy on the eyes). Jungle Green with a black handle (paper or G10) for a more "serious" looking knife.

Arctic White if you don't want to sell it! ;-)
