Just received the Boss Jack. Seems like a wee bit of a convex grind on the edge there, but it didn't come very sharp at all. Also have the Fallkniven A1 and find the two of them to be almost exactly the same size and weight. I'm finding the grip on the BJ to be a bit thin, whereas the A1's is just perfect for my small/medium hands. Will also be getting the Fehrman Shadow Scout, then will do a much more comprehensive comparison. Should be interesting. Btw, the fit and finish of the Boss Jack is quite excellent.

All good knives. I was just thinking about the comparison of the Boss Jack and Shadow Scout this morning, since they are about the same size.
Like most of the choices with knife selection, most of them are very subjective depending on how the ergonomics work for the hand of the owner/buyer. I don't think you can go wrong with any of the three you listed...

You think the SCOUT and the Busse are similar size?! You wouldn't believe the A1. The only difference is the choil! Balance, although the same as on my A1 made of solid VG10 (non-laminate), FEELS different. At a complete loss to explain. It may be the thicker rubber grip
