so, I've had a mid sized gap for a while now need to fill it. Am I better off getting 1 x piggy (and which one) or 2 x sr-101 dogs

My vote goes to the RMD (of course someone has to point this out) it may very well be the best mid sized knife released from any of the Busse shops. Its as popular as it is for a reason.

I like the CG SJACTAC with mags, it's almost the INFI version of a RMD with a little more size.
For me it's the best feeling mid size blade, it fits my hand perfectly.
The thicker LE is a little chunky for me but that extra weight is awesome.
The skinny ASH is a close second.

Well it is so hard to find a SASQUATCH!

But seriously. 2 knives are better than one.

Brendan,

I had a Boss Jack LE- sold it, as for me it was too thick and narrow for it's lenght. (I had an oldskool SJ, and felt the same...) The HG-55 is too thick for me, also for a "do it all" midsize blade. Both are beautiful blades tho.
The RMD is really a perfect midsize companion.
I have a Skinny ASH, still - and I've thought I'll never part with it, but I'm on a fence to sell, as it's rarely out of the sheath these days.

I've found a Badger-e, and it just one of the most comfy blades what I've owned - I wish it would be anorexic and without a choil...
The Sarsquatch is a sleeper I think. It's a great mid size usable design.
