I think that vast majority of my Busse Combat knives have Satin blade finishes and Orange/Black G-10 handles.

Nice looking knife but I dont understand why the need to put the word "custom" on the other side.

.

I was puzzled by this as well. I hope they replace that with what I requested rather than having both.

Love it! That's what I picked for my LE too. Choil pumpkin. Great pics. Thx. Looks like this knife is going to feel amazing in hand. Hope im not setting myself up by raising the expectations-but looks like a real winner in my eyes.

I assumed it was because you pick what handle and choil/no choil was on the LE...so "Custom".

Kind of like a "Custom" Harley Davidson.:p

Yep, thats a keeper! Who could not fall in love with that knife. Its an instant classic.

Awesome photography as always. Your Pumpkin ASH1 pictures are what put my on the quest for my grail, which I was lucky enough to score last year. This might be another one I'll have to go after down the road.

I am thinking about getting my first Busse would you recommend a BOSS Jack LE or a SAR6 LE? (If I go for a BOSS Jack LE I will probably get a pumpkin like the only above. I just love the orange knives.) Also choil, with or sans?
There is only enough money for one.

Just my opinion, but I just got the SAR6 and it is a superb knife, I think it is the best midsized Busse. You can't beat a full height convex grind IMO. I'd go for the SAR6 LE. Also a choil makes any knife a lot more versatile for outdoor/woods use; I'm not sure about combat use; no experience there.

I have neither, but if I were … I find Boss Jacks to be more appealing to my eye, not to mention the “no choil” option. Few guys raised pretty compelling reasons for not having one.

Ken, you always take the best pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Best, Les.
