Thank You to the Busse crew for the CABJ:cool::thumbup:
This is my favorite Busse so far. The tip is nice and fat for an anorexic, and it came super sharp:thumbup:

Man that is sweet looking  especially choiless like the cabs which i still want to get or find one day.

Great news!
Expect one more coming your way for sheathing any day now! ;)
Very nice pics!
How does the LE feel in comparsion to cg version?
Does it feel slimer in the handle due to less thickness?

Thank You:)

The LE feels very similar to the CG. The CG has a thinner point and is convex with a v- grind.
The LE is sabre ground with a convex edge:thumbup:
The CG is heavier, but they both balance right behind the talon hole. Almost in the exact same spot. The CG balances about a 1/16" farther back towards the butt.
The sabre grind makes the LE perfect IMO.

Is there any chance you could take a pic of a proto/cg Boss jack next to it (if you have one) taken from the spine?

LVC - what are the knives on the above pic?
Are they boss jack le on the top and boss jack proto on the bottom?
Is there such a big diference in thickness between those two models?

cool.
mine should be here this week. I'm glad because I changed my original-choiled-order to choilless...

My CG has been stripped and very lightly hand sanded, so it is very close to factory size and shape. The CG's come nice under the coating:)

One of these days I'm gonna have to get one of the cg's to see how it feels next to the proto's...

I just got my LE today--would have been yesterday except I was at work and had to go to the PO to sign for it. It is certainly an improvement over the Proto. The tip is thicker than the Proto's while the blade stock is thinner. The Proto is awesome but it has too much material left behind the edge. It's excessively thick going into its convex edge. The sabre grind of the LE leading into its convex edge remedies that problem perfectly but still allows for a nice thick tip. I am planning on using this LE as soon as Chuddy Bear is done making me a sheath. I did some kitchen duty right off--it slices cheese and paper like a dream. It's a beauty too--both my LE and my Proto are choiless. If the BOSS Jack CG is left up long enough, I want a choiless CG too.

Should be getting mine soon.....Received your sheath today for the Regulator, Nice work Al.

Will have to get one for my Boss Jack LE when I get it.

Hello would you ship a kydex sheath for a regular BOSS JACK (not the LE) to France ?
best regards
max
