I picked this knife up at Blade Show and loved it. I thought it was a little out of my range so I let my friend jd4320t jd4320t buy it. Well the next week he brought it out to my place and I couldn't put it down, being the gracious friend/HOG he is he let me buy it from him.
We both knew it was special, I'm kinda curious if there are any others like it. It's .30 thick and the balance point is at the talon hole, I wonder if it's been milled out under the scales, or just holes drilled under them. I know, I should just remove the scales and see, but I feel bad enough stripping a Custom Shop that might be a one off.
I did strip it and gave it a ghetto satin. It had the thick hammered silver powder coating from the shop as well as the grinder gremlins :(

Micro CBT convex grind on the tip.

It's an amazing user, and it's definitely found a forever home :D

An x-ray machine would make a pretty cool picture without having to remove the handles. With that balance point, I would be inclined to think there are at least a couple of extra holes in the tang.
Very nice!

Very nice blade! In my experience, Busse is very good at making a balanced blade. Even some of the bigger choppers like the ASHBM are much lighter feeling than they actually are if that makes any sense.

I hope you get sick of that thing..... Lmk if you decide to part with that beauty. I wont hold my breath. :D enjoy!

This knife is so sweet. I haven't seen it since being stripped and I can't wait til I do. I've never seen or heard of a Boss Jack like this one and I don't think there were any more at the show.

Awesome and intriguing at the same time..... the choil shape is the same as the skyco models from the yard.... I've never seen the likes!

Congrats and welcome to being broke for the foreseeable future whilst you feed your new addiction!

I have only seen one other fat Jack on BF:

This one appears to be saber ground, so it is different from yours in that respect.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks gk4ever2
I have seen many other fat jacks, I should have picked one of those up at Blade 15'. That's part of being at Blade Show, it's so overwhelming I almost develop tunnel vision and miss things. I'm sure glad I saw this one. :)

Thanks Lawrie
That choil is round actually, an optical illusion I guess caused by shadow and how thick the talon hole area is in contrast to the very thin edge grind.
Thanks again, and this is far from a new addiction, lol I guess I'm what some would call an undercover HOG :D

Lol oh yeah, it's a real SLUT Boss Jack. She came home with me from Atlanta and already moved on to another. :P
